NATURAL MATERIALS: This plateau basket is handcrafted from sisal and sweetgrass, locally-harvested in Rwanda. Sisal, extracted from inside of agave plants, is sun-dried before being hand dyed and woven into our signature baskets. Sweetgrass, an integral element of Rwandan weaving, is found at the center of our baskets.
